there are three main spheres of csr addressed by FG:
a) factories are all comprehensively and continuously evaluated to ensure social compliance. FG Shoes monitors the welfare & working environment, facilities (medical, food & water, transport, childcare) and labour policies, ensuring optimal conditions for all those involved within the supply chain, with a zero tolerance on child labour and other poor practices. FG's code of labour practice and comprehensive compliance manual can both be obtained upon request.
b) FG's unique management style & structure enables staff at all levels to raise ideas & concerns with senior management, and FG's offices provide unique working places taking into account needs & sensitivities with a wide range of facilities and comfortable environment. evaluations, discussions, motivational seminars and courses on energy & yoga help staff to raise levels of personal development. a strong recycling scheme, including minimizing paper wastage and recycling of items such as cans & bottles, is a part of FG Shoes green policy regarding the environment.
c) FG Shoes outreach program contributes back to wider society through charitable monetary & in kind donations to various development agencies, NGOs & charities which develops and promotes creative solutions to social, health, education & rural development problems across Asia & Africa
